Dunmore Park is the culmination of a life spent absorbing and collecting music. Launched by Andrew Williams (co-founder of the Night Vision Music collective and the Alberta Electronic Music Conference) in June of 2016, Dunmore Park's productions are nostalgic collages of sound, taking old world melodies and mingling them with newer sensibilities. He describes his sound as a mixture of house and downtempo, with songs created with both home listening and dancefloors in mind.
While the project still in its infancy, Dunmore Park’s music has already received support from across the globe. His music has been signed by a myriad of international labels such as Supremus (UK), Touch of Class (USA), Copycow (Germany/India), TTOMH (USA), Substation (CAN), and he has releases on the way on Edmonton-based Night Vision Music and Future Roots. He's played at world-class festivals like Amsterdam Dance Event, Bass Coast, Astral Harvest, to name a few and his songs have received DJ support from artists like Maya Jane Coles, Pezzner, Horse Meat Disco, Corey Baker, Afftk, Soul Clap, KMLN, Hernan Cattaneo, Riva Starr, DJ T, ZDS, Nick Monaco, Luis Leon, Jerry Bouthier, Pillow Talk, and more.
As a performer, Dunmore Park is a skilled DJ with over a decade of experience behind him and a fondness for the eclectic. He frequently incorporates live elements into his DJ sets, either through live vocals or live electronics. Through his collaboration with video artist Owen Brierley, he also performs occasionally with customized visuals that provide a video journey to accompany his music. As a performer, he fuses live elements with eclectic and energizing DJ sets and he recently toured two dates with Bonobo (live).
