Solaya Love

Solaya Love and John Atonic are a collaborative mastery of singer/songwriter Solaya Love and producer/composer John Atonic. Their skillfully crafted sound is co-written and independently produced by Solaya and John and mixed and mastered by John. The carefully blended genres illuminates a journey through the breadth of human experience exploring magnetizing bass and drum syncopation, playful beats and seductive vocals that call to the heart and speak to the feet.

Their one hour live show consists of extended dance mixes of their songs featuring Solaya's juicy freestyle vocals and silk fan flow dance, and John mixing Solaya's vocal looper and FX controls, garnished with two delicious go-go dancers.

Solaya began singing before knowing how to speak and now speaks 4 languages: English, French, Spanish and Music, and continues to explore the richness and potentiality of words, music and sound. She attended her first concert while still in her mother's belly.

She has been playing guitar for 12 years as well as a wide variety of other instruments. From rocking with her band The Haze, to the EDM world, her main intention in sharing her music is to raise the vibrations of all those who hear and to recreate a sense of unity in us all as she communicates her truth through the universal language of music.

Musical influences include genres such as Rock, Reggae, Roots, Rap, Hip-Hop, Thrash Metal, Folk, Blues, Pop, House and other EDM. Inspired by artists: Tove Lo, Ariana Grande, Brittany Spears, Jessie J. Fergie, Izzy Bizu, Madonna, Lady Gaga, John Butler Trio, Samsara Blues Experiment, Black Sabbath, Taking Back Sunday and Sticky Buds.

John Atonic

Song Writer, Composer, Arranger, Producer

John is from Edmonton, AB and picked up the guitar at age 14. His early influences were Jimi Hendrix, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath and Pink Floyd, and later influences were classical and jazz. John studied music at Grant MacEwan College and started song writing, composing, arranging and producing music with legendary multi-track Tascam 4-track Cassette Porta-Studio. John toured as a guitarist extensively in Canada during the 80's and 90's in a variety of Pop, Rock, Country and Blues bands. John set up a home studio in 2006 and the EDM bug caught up with him in 2011 and draws his influences from a multitude of EDM genres.
