Let the words come.
Poetry is motion,
Presence and devotion
to the present state of flowing.
Every etch is a contract
with the deepest knowing.
Divine guidance in the quietest moments
amidst an explosion of creation.
That's the poetry in motion.
Tap into you inner poet(ess) in this guide to amplify your practice of self love. Have you ever yearned for a deeper innerstanding to the way you express yourself through your language?
In this workshop we will unveil new paths that connect the heart and mind to the words we choose; Weaving ideas, thoughts and stories with intoning resonance at the root. Find your flow-state by being present in this experience and allow the words to simply come through you, the alchemist who holds your truth. Expect to move, write, and share in this container that will be held with utmost respect and care.
This is open to the entire spectrum of people participating at Astral Harvest. Participants are asked to bring pen and paper, poems half-written or yet to birthed, and their rainbow-esque selves!
Kelsey Klip reigns from a long line of ancestors who have something to say. She established herself as a poet in Nelson (BC) where she was actively involved in the Nelson Poetry Slam scene by organizing monthly events, creating a space for local poets to meet, emceeing, and of course performing as a slam contestant. Since stepping into her natural role she has been featured on ShawTV Okanagan's Inspired Word Cafe series, held workshops, performed at a variety of venues between BC and Alberta and has written and published two poetry books. Having recently returned to her roots in Edmonton, you can often find her at Breath In Poetry Collective's open mic and slam events. Creatively orchestrating her experience, she aims to inspire people to speak with conviction and loving intention as a way to empower consciousness as a whole.
