Welcome to the Sound Meditation workshop: a guided meditation and integration of sound healing using the music of the spheres.
Our workshop will consist of a one hour sound healing meditation. We will be sound layering precision calibrated planetary tuning forks, chimes, singing bowls and symphonic planetary gongs to integrate the body back to wholeness.
Everything in the Universe vibrates, from the smallest particle, to the planets in our solar system, to the billions of stars in the Milky Way Galaxy, creating patterns of geometric waveforms, frequencies, musical intervals and sounds. In Western culture, The Music of the Spheres, or the concept of these heavenly harmonies can be traced back to 6th century BCE and Pythagoras, who recognized that sounds are subject to mathematical laws and proportions and are the very foundation of the Universe.
Tuning forks will be applied to the acupoints and meridians on the body and will be used above the body in the auric field. All our tools and instruments are specifically tuned to the frequency of each planet’s orbit around the sun in our solar system. The frequencies within our solar system directly influence each living being on this planet. We are a part of an intricate and vast matrix of vibrational interactions. The concept of as above, so below, is the backbone of this practice.
As well as the guided sound meditation we will be incorporating aromatherapy.
Tasha Brekkas was born and raised in a small town in Northeast BC where she was naturally drawn to the peacefulness of the outdoors and the healing properties that nature had to offer. She was introduced to Reiki in her late 20's which opened her up to a whole new world. It was shortly after she followed her intuition to take an Acutonics course in New Mexico. Once she heard the music of the spheres and had the tuning forks placed on her body she knew this was a deep passion of hers. Working with sound has given her the most rewarding experiences through both facilitating sound meditations and one on one sessions. She continues to lead monthly guided sound baths in her hometown.
